Make your own Masterpiece @ Rijksstudio and win the 2015 Award

The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, invites you to get inspired by their collection and create your own design using Rijksstudio.

Every form of art is allowed: design, fine art, applied art, photography, video and everyone can enter the competition.

A jury of design experts will select three winners. The ten best designs will be exhibited in the Rijksmuseum.

Last year winners of the Rijksstudio Award 2014 were Asnate Bockis and Rogier Arents, they were inspired by the painting of Jan Adam Kruseman: Portrait of Alida Christina Assink and and created a tin box with eye shadows.


The winner of the Rijksstudio Award 2015 will be announced during the award presentation at the Rijksmuseum on 20 April 2015, and will receive 10.000 euros, second best 2.500 and third 1.000 euros.

Members of the jury are Irma Boom (Designer, Irma Boom Office), Tony Chambers (Editor-in-Chief, Wallpaper*), Taco Dibbits (Director of Collections, Rijksmuseum), Mark van Iterson (Global Head Design & Concept, Heineken), Thomas Marzano (Global Head Brand Communication Design, Philips), Renny Ramakers (Creative Director, Droog Design) and Thomas Widdershoven (Creative Director, Design Academy Eindhoven)
